Day 1: Tokyo – Arrival

Your journey begins in the bustling capital city, Tokyo. You’ll be greeted at the airport and taken privately to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure: relax or start exploring vibrant districts such as Ginza with its shopping, sushi bars and lively atmosphere.

Day 2: Tokyo – Full-Day Private Tour

After breakfast you’ll meet your private guide and head out with your 14-day Japan Rail Pass activated. You begin in Asakusa, exploring the historic Senso-ji Temple and the lively Nakamise Street. Then visit the peaceful Meiji Shrine, followed by the youthful energy of Shibuya including its famed crossing.

Day 3: Tokyo – At Leisure

Enjoy a free day in Tokyo to explore at your own pace — perhaps visit the Tsukiji Outer Market, take in panoramic city views or wander through eclectic neighbourhoods.

Day 4: Tokyo → Hakone

After breakfast and check-out you’ll use your Rail Pass to travel via Odawara to Hakone — a scenic mountain town famed for onsen, forests and views of Mount Fuji on clear days.  You’ll check into your hotel and have the evening to relax.

Day 5: Hakone – Private Full-Day Tour

Your guide will take you on a full day of exploration around Hakone National Park: ride the cable-car and rope-way over volcanic valleys, take a pirate-style boat on Lake Ashi and visit the Open Air Museum. Views of Mount Fuji may feature if weather allows.

Day 6: Hakone → Kyoto

After breakfast and checkout, you’ll travel by Shinkansen bullet train to Kyoto, Japan’s former imperial capital filled with temples, gardens and historic charm.

Day 7: Kyoto – Private Highlights Tour

On this guided day you’ll visit iconic sites in Kyoto: Kinkaku‑ji (Golden Pavilion), Nijo Castle with its famed “nightingale” floors, Heian Shrine and finally Kiyomizu‑dera with its panoramic view of Kyoto and unique wooden veranda built without nails.

Day 8: Kyoto – At Leisure

Free day to explore Kyoto your way: wander through the thousands of red torii at Fushimi Inari Taisha, stroll the bamboo-clad Arashiyama Bamboo Grove or relax in an onsen hot spring.

Day 9: Kyoto → Hiroshima

After breakfast and check-out, you’ll travel by bullet train to Hiroshima (approx. 1 ½ hours). Upon arrival, make your own way to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 10: Hiroshima – Private Full-Day Tour

Meet your guide for a poignant journey through Hiroshima’s past: visit the Peace Memorial Park and Museum, then a ferry ride to Miyajima Island to see the famous floating torii gate at Itsukushima Shrine and explore its sacred woodland trails. Wild deer roam freely and local snacks await.

Day 11: Hiroshima → Osaka

Day 12: Osaka – Private Half-Day Food Tour

Your guide will lead you on a walking tour of Osaka’s vibrant food scene: visit the retro New World (Shinsekai) for local kushikatsu, then the lively Namba area with its famous Glico Man sign, and conclude at the bustling Kuromon Market — perhaps taste takoyaki along the way. }
