Detailed Itinerary (Day-by-Day)

Day 1–3 — Tokyo

  • Arrive in Japan’s dynamic capital. Meet your guide at the airport and transfer to your central hotel.

Day 4–5 — Nagoya & The Nakasendo Trail

  • Travel by Shinkansen (Green Car) to Nagoya in comfort. Experience Japan’s high-speed rail firsthand.
  • Walk the historic Nakasendo Trail between Magome and Tsumago. These Edo-period towns offer a glimpse into Japan’s past.

Day 6–7 — Takayama (Japanese Alps)

  • Journey to Takayama in the Japanese Alps. Stay at a traditional ryokan with tatami rooms, onsen baths, and seasonal kaiseki meals.
  • Explore Takayama’s old town and morning markets. Taste local specialties and learn about regional traditions on a guided food walk.

Day 8–9 — Kanazawa

Day 10–11 — Hiroshima & Miyajima

Day 12–14 — Kyoto & Nara
